Part 1 — Building sentences step by step

A clear sentence has a subject + verb + details (weather, clothes, activities, feelings).

  • My favorite season is spring. (subject + verb + season)
  • The weather is warm and sunny. (description)
  • In spring, I see many flowers and green trees. (what you see)
  • I wear light clothes like T-shirts and trainers. (clothes)
  • I usually have a picnic with my family. (activity)
  • I like spring because it makes me feel happy. (reason/feeling)

Part 2 — Model paragraph

My favorite season is winter. The weather is cold and sometimes snowy. In winter, I see white mountains and bare trees. I wear a warm coat, a scarf and boots. I usually drink hot chocolate and read at home in the evening. I like winter because it feels cosy and peaceful.
